A checklist of the 28 species of the Swiss Oedemeridae is presented and briefly discussed The work is mainly based on the identification of museum specimens and private collections by the authors Eight species are discussed in order to justify their inclusion in the checklist, while four species were not included due to insufficient documentation, such as literature citations without verifiable specimens, erroneous determinations or problematic data (unlikely locality).

Checklist of the Water beetles of Switzerland. Part 2: Gyrinidae, Haliplidae, Paelobiidae, Sphaeriusidae. — An updated checklist of Gyrinidae, Haliplidae, Paelobiidae Hygrobiidae) and Sphaeriusidae Microsporidae) of Switzerland is given and briefly annotated. But for a few exceptions, the work is based on the identification of specimens by the author. Paelobiidae and Sphaeriusidae are each represented by a single species. After exclusion of misidentifications and highly unlikely or insufficiently documented data, 8 species of Gyrinidae and 16 species of Haliplidae are listed.

An updated checklist of the Swiss species belonging to the superfamily Scarabaeoidea is presented and briefly discussed. A total of 173 species belonging to the families Geotrupidae, Glaphyridae, Lucanidae, Ochodaeidae, Scarabaeidae and Trogidae is confirmed for Switzerland. This species list is based on 73’358 occurrences obtained from the identification of specimens held in museums and private collections and from the literature.

Abstract: Addendum to the Hydrophiloidea species checklist of Switzerland: Helophorus nanus Sturm, 1836 (Coleoptera: Helophoridae). − Helophorus nanus Sturm, 1836 was not included on the 2023 checklist of the Hydrophiloidea of Switzerland. Although this species was mentioned for Switzerland in the past, historical literature citations were not supported by specimens in collections. In this note, we present proof of its presence in Switzerland based on specimens collected in 2023 in the canton of Schaffhausen.

Abstract: Aeletes atomarius (Aubé, 1842) (Coleoptera, Histeridae), a new species for the Swiss fauna. − Surveys carried out in 2022 and 2023 in the north and west of Switzerland resulted in the capture of several specimens of Aeletes atomarius, a discreet micro-Histeridae that was not considered indigenous to Switzerland until now. Histeridae are currently represented by 79 species in Switzerland.

Abstract: Improved understanding of lampyrid beetles in Switzerland and observation of Luciola lusitanica Charpentier, 1825 in Geneva (Coleoptera, Lampyridae). – Five species of Lampyridae are present in Switzerland. While Lampyris noctiluca, Lamprohiza splendidula, Phosphaenus hemipterus and Luciola italica have long been known, the presence of Luciola lusitanica is confirmed here for the first time.
