Liste commentée des Cerophytidae, Elateridae, Eucnemidae et Throscidae (Coleoptera) de Suisse = Annotated checklist of the Cerophytidae, Elateridae, Eucnemidae and Throscidae (Coleoptera) of Switzerland

A list of the Swiss Cerophytidae. Elateridae. Eucnemidae and Throscidae is presented with some annotations. The work is based on the identification of specimens from museums and private collections by the authors and several European specialists. One species of Cerophytidae, 152 Elateridae, 15 Eucnemidae and 8 Throscidae are recorded from Switzerland. For all species the synonymy used in the Swiss literature is provided. Forty-three species (37 Elateridae, 3 Eucnemidae and 3 Throscidae) are recorded as doubtful and listed separately.

In der Schweiz werden 101 (41%) der 249 bewerteten Weichtierarten gemäss den IUCN-Kriterien als gefährdet eingestuft. 40 Arten (16%) werden als potenziell gefährdet geführt. Dabei gelten 40% der 181 Landschnecken sowie 43% der 68 Wasserschnecken und Muscheln als bedroht. Am stärksten betroffen sind Arten der Feuchtgebiete sowie der Quellen, der Trockenwiesen und der Übergangsgebiete. Für das Überleben mehrerer der vom Aussterben bedrohten oder der stark bedrohten Arten trägt die Schweiz eine grosse Verantwortung, da sie lokalendemisch in der Schweiz vorkommen.

New, confirmative and additional finds of eleven species are reported, a list of errata to the checklist is given, problematic species regarding their delimitations and therefore promising for further (molecular) studies are listed, and the latest changes in nomenclature and faunistics concerning the Swiss fauna are provided. Summarizing all changes, a total of 1062 taxa are presently known. Furthermore, based on the Böschenstein collection (Museum zu Allerheiligen. Schaffhausen), erroneous determinations by Gustav Stierlin could be detected and are reported herein.
