Abstract: Pogonocherus perroudi Mulsant, 1839 (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae), a new species for the
Swiss fauna. − Pogonocherus perroudi, a species with a circum-Mediterranean distribution, was
discovered for the first time in Switzerland in 2024, in a small pine forest in the canton of Valais.

Résumé : Pogonocherus perroudi, une espèce à distribution circum-méditerranéenne, a été mise en
évidence pour la première fois en Suisse en 2024, dans une petite pinède du canton du Valais.

Abstract: On the basis of more than 14,000 occurrences obtained from specimens held in museums and private collections, as well as from literature data, we present the first updated checklist of the Swiss species of Byrrhoidea (Byrrhidae) and Dryopoidea (Dryopidae, Elmidae, Heteroceridae, Limnichidae, Psephenidae, and Ptilodactylidae) since 1900. In total, 78 species are retained as part of the Swiss fauna, while 10 species, which were recorded from Switzerland in the past, are excluded from this list.

L'observation du développement des amphibiens, de l'œuf à la grenouille, est une expérience impressionnante de la nature, qui n'est plus facilement accessible aujourd'hui, surtout pour les enfants des villes. C'est pourquoi l'élevage de têtards en classe est une possibilité précieuse de sensibiliser les élèves aux thèmes biologiques et écologiques et d'éveiller leur enthousiasme pour la nature en général.

Amphibien wandern jährlich von ihren Überwinterungsorten zu ihren Fortpflanzungsgewässern und zurück. Auf Alpweiden kommt es immer wieder vor, dass Amphibien durch Weideroste (auch Viehrost, Viehgitter oder Bovistop genannt) hindurch fallen. Sie finden aus der darunterliegenden Grube keinen Ausweg und verenden schliesslich. In diesem Merkblatt werden einfach einzurichtende Systeme vorgeschlagen, um die durch Weideroste verursachte Sterblichkeit von Amphibien zu verringern.

Die Beobachtung der Entwicklung von Amphibien vom Ei bis zum Frosch ist ein beeindruckendes Naturerlebnis, das heute vor allem für Stadtkinder nicht mehr so leicht zugänglich ist. Daher ist die Aufzucht von Kaulquappen im Unterricht eine wertvolle Möglichkeit, den SchülerInnen biologische und ökologische Themen näher zu bringen und ihre Begeisterung für die Natur im Allgemeinen zu wecken.

Les batraciens effectuent annuellement des migrations de leur site d'hivernage vers leur site de reproduction (plans d'eau) et inversement. Dans les alpages, il arrive régulièrement que certains amphibiens se retrouvent piégés au fond des passages canadiens (bovistops) et y meurent faute d'échappatoire. Cette notice propose des systèmes faciles à mettre en place pour réduire la mortalité des batraciens provoquée par les passages canadiens.

Abstract: Hierodula transcaucasica Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878 has arrived in Switzerland (Mantodea: Mantidae). − The first observations of Hierodula transcaucasica in Switzerland are presented and briefly discussed. The criteria for identification and differentiation fromMantis religiosa and Hierodula patellifera are illustrated.
