The Swiss weevil fauna numbers 1069 taxa, present results included. Rhinusa vestita (Germar, 1821) is recorded as new for the Swiss fauna. Records of Aspidapion validum (Germar, 1817), Ceutorhynchus resedae (Marsham, 1802), Lixus scolopax Boheman, 1835, Minyops variolosus (Fabricius, 1775), Otiorhynchus conspersus (Herbst, 1795) and Sitona lineellus (Bonsdorff, 1785) are confirmed or renewed by reference specimens. The overlooked record of Gymnetron aper Desbrochers. 1893 is added and additional data of eight remarkable species is given. The recently noticed spreading of Hyiastinus fankhauseri Reitter, 1895 in urban areas in the Swiss Plateau is documented. An update of changes in nomenclature affecting the Swiss weevil fauna is included, and the differences in the male genitalia of Otiorhynchus lugdunensis Boheman, 1842 and O. tenebricosus (Herbst. 1784) are illustrated.
